History: Hicoyo was born in the early mourning hours during a blizzard in Parkersburg WV. What's behind a name? Simple. Her mother simply chose numbers one through twenty six to get her name. Weighing no more than 5 pounds and no bigger than a loaf of bread, the hospital would not permit Mary, her mother, to take her home. Instead her mother stayed at the hospital and over time Hicoyo grew and was finally able to leave. However shortly after being brought home, some family occurrences took place that will not be disclosed here and thus Hicoyo, Mary, and Teariny her older sister, were forced to flea the states to Japan where they had family who they could live with. Hicoyo herself is not of Japanese decent, but nonetheless they remained in Japan for about five years until Mary felt it safe enough to move back to the states and move in with her older sister Rena until they could get on their feet. That was when her step-father Bruce came into the picture. With his help the family of four was able to move out and get a place of their own, and from then on Hicoyo had a pretty normal childhood. However, at the age of 13 her mother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, and at age 14 her mother died, leaving her alone with her step father seeing as how her older sister had moved out with her boyfriend some time ago. Family members who Hicoyo had never even heard of scrambled to take custody of Hicoyo, for Bruce and Mary had never been married and so the question of him raising her was risen. After a long thought process Hicoyo chose to go with Stacy, her biological fathers younger sister who she believed could possibly provide a better life for her. Scraping for food, ducking the cops, trafficking drugs, that was not a life style Hicoyo wanted, and thus her reasoning for leaving her old life behind.
Now living with her aunt she first attended her first High School known as Union Pines and there she met the young Christopher Harvell and the two hit it off. Despite the fact that she was gifted no one at the school seemed to care seeing as about half the students there were gifted. At first Chris and Hicoyo were nothing more than friends, but it soon escalated into something much more and the two began to date. In a period of eight months they spent time together, and Hicoyo could honestly say that she loved him dearly, more than anything else in the world and he said the same. So it would obviously come as a shock to the red head when she’d find him in the arms of another girl, and not only that a girl Hicoyo had once thought to be her friend. In a rage, Hicoyo lost control of herself and her power took control, hurt the Hicoyo everyone knew shrunk away and a new Hicoyo came through, named at one of her therapy sessions as Kira this new side of her was a blood thirsty killer who used her powerful telekinetic abilities to kill 53 people in under five minutes. Hicoyo served a sentence of five months in the county jail, let off because of a plea of temporary insanity and because she was minor. When returning to the school she found no one wanted anything to do with her and was quickly expulsed for reasons she even proved the school couldn’t do but was transferred to Rose Thorn to try and give the gifted a chance to start over.
