Bunnies
The metal blade shimmered in the moonlight as he left the safety of the forest and entered the barren waste land before the gaping mouth of the cave. The sound of heavy breathing exited the cave along with the odor of decaying rotting flesh with dirt that would blow past him in time with the breaths. Fighting the fear that clung to him, he gathered all the courage he could and entered the cave.
Spider webs littered the walls and white glimmering bones coated the floor some seem to hang in midair by the spider webs. He winced every time his feet shattered the bones as he walked farther into the cave. Thankful for the bones for they reflected the moonlight into the cave even though it was unnerving to him.
The breathing got loader and the smell stronger as he wandered further and further into the cave. The farther he went the fewer the bones and webs there were that meant the farther he went the darker it went. As he continued deeper into the cave the sound vanishes and the smell disappeared.
Then a pink fluffy bunny holding a lit torch hopped out from behind a rock. “You come to slay the beast that lives in this cave?” It asked him.
Startled he held the sword’s blade between him and the talking pink fluffy bunny with a torch. Forcing himself to speak he replied, “Yes.”
“Another one,” it sighed. “Well come this way then,” the bunny commanded as it hopped off farther into the cave. Slowly he followed.
After a short time the bunny stopped. “You wait here. I shall come back in a moment to kill you,” The bunny said as the torch went out. In shock he stood there in total darkness as the bunny disappeared.
A load roar erupted through the cave echoing off the walls. Thuds could be heard; something large was going towards him. The torches unaware on the wall went ablaze as they lit, lighting most of the cave but for one part covered with a shadow.
Coming out of the shadow a giant pink fluff paw emerged and slowly the owner of the paw exited the shadow. It was the pink fluffy bunny but giant as it leaned over him. As he started to shake he held up the glimmering sword and held it in-between him and the beast.
“That’s the end now dears, are you ready for bed?” a voice asked.
“But, but what happened to him?” Two children like voices asked. “Can you also turn on a light Mom?” One of the voices asked.
“Fine dear” The voice sighed. “Well you should know I ate him” the voice replied as the light entered the room to reveal the giant pink fluffy bunny with a small blue fluffy bunny and a small green fluffy bunny.
The End.
